In the latest HIV and ID Observations, Dr. Paul Sax says that HIV specialists should stop discouraging the use of long-acting cabotegravir and rilpivirine in people not taking standard oral antiretroviral therapy — an opinion he bases on several published studies, including one in Clinical Infectious Diseases.
