The migraine prodrome is an early, non-aura phase of the migraine attack, occurring before the headache. Ubrogepant is FDA-approved for acute treatment of migraine attacks. To investigate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ubrogepant for acute treatment of migraine when administered during the prodromal phase, researchers conducted a manufacturer-funded, phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study.
