For anti-LGI1 encephalitis, much focus has been on diagnosis and initial treatment, but little is known about clinical outcomes during the first year following initial treatment. These researchers prospectively enrolled and followed 24 patients with anti-LGI1, who had initially presented with cognitive impairment (100%), psychiatric or behavioral symptoms (88%), focal seizures (88%), sleep disturbances (71%), and faciobrachial dystonic seizures (FBDS; 54%). Median symptom-onset to initial immunotherapy time was 84 days.
