This past year saw an abundance of research that informed, validated, or changed our clinical practice. We learned about the dangers of certain medication combinations, the limited usefulness of a decades-old, commonly used medication, and potential benefits of new interventions, while reaffirming the safety and efficacy of several preventive therapies.
