Single Lot of Alka-Seltzer Cold Medicine Recalled

One lot of Alka-Seltzer Plus Day & Night Cold Formula liquid gels (lot # 296939L) has been recalled by the manufacturer because of a labeling mix-up.

The label on the underside of the foil blister card in some packages was reversed, meaning that the green nighttime liquid gels are labeled for daytime use, and vice versa. Bayer says that consumers who inadvertently take the nighttime liquid gels might not be prepared for the drowsiness associated with the product's antihistamine.
